10:00-10:15

Community Time

• We gather to find out about our activities of the day. and celebrate our community.

• Teacher will read a story to launch our investigations into the natural world. Guided activities may include art, science, observation and other projects.

10:15-10:40

Snack and story

• Children bring a packed lunch/snack from home. We share snack and a story in our forest meeting space, tucked under the trees. 

 

10:40-11:30

Backyard Play

• Exploration and play in the magical backyard.  Rain or shine we spend ample time in the yard. Children can assist with feeding the rabbits, chickens and wildlife. They may choose to play in our digging area,  garden beds or forested area. We have several play structures and a mud kitchen ripe for imagination.   Children also learn cooperative group games that encourage gross motor and problem solving. ​

11:30-12:00

Patio Play

• Our covered patio hosts a play dough table, rotating sensory bin and art opportunities. Open-ended process art projects are provided daily. 

12:00-12:30

Lunch

• Children bring a packed lunch from home. We gather together for our mid-day meal.

Closing circle/ Reading

• Reading time / Closing circle / preparing for home.
